Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of MoodEvo (moodevo.com). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use MoodEvo.

1. Not medical advice, not an emergency service

  • MoodEvo — including the AI coach, wellness tools, and community — is a self-reflection and journaling product. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
  • The AI coach uses general-purpose AI models and can be wrong, incomplete, or unhelpful. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, or crisis decisions.
  • If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency number, or a crisis line such as 988 (US) or find one at findahelpline.com. Do not wait for a response from MoodEvo.

2. Your account

  • You must provide a valid email and are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use MoodEvo.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings; this is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. Community guidelines

  • Posts and comments are shown under a pseudonymous alias, not your real name — please respect other members' anonymity and don't attempt to identify them.
  • Don't harass, threaten, or target other members; don't post spam, illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
  • We do not pre-screen or block posts containing crisis-related language — instead we show support resources. Any member can report a post or comment for a human moderator to review; violating content will be removed and repeated or severe violations may lead to account suspension or termination.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access other users' data; don't scrape the service; don't use it to build a competing product from our data; don't misuse the AI coach to generate harmful content unrelated to your own wellbeing.

5. Your content

  • You retain ownership of what you write. By posting to the community, you grant us a license to store and display it as part of the service (e.g. to other members, under your alias). You can delete your own posts/comments at any time.

6. Service availability

  • MoodEvo is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and features may change or be discontinued.

7. Limitation of liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoodEvo and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI coach output or community content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

  • You may stop using MoodEvo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the community guidelines in Section 3.

9. Changes to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms; we'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
